The Right Choice

I should be sleeping by now,  but I can't.  I should be doing the report that my sister asked me to, but I'm not in the mood.  So to use my idle time, here I am writing...

I've watched This Means War two days ago, and there's this line that struck me.  I told Jim that I will write about that line of Trish. Here's the quotable quote from Trish...(Naks my quotography pa!hihihi)
I may be so epal to people from the chatroom, but little they did know, I do have a heart.  Yes, I do at hindi lang pang bopis to teh pang love din! Naks!  Anyway, that line was uttered by Trish when Reese was asking her if it's possible to equally love 2 people at the same time.  I guess Trish was right, from my point of view, we shouldn't be loving the person just because he's BETTER according to the society's standard.

He may be so handsome but can you face him even if you just woke up and haven't brush your teeth and you do not have make up?  He may be sweet but does his sweetness makes you kilig?  He may be brought up by priests but do you feel secured with him? He may be a graduate of UP, Harvard or Stanford but can you still speak  what's on your mind without the fear of being laughed at or being called stupid?

Often times when we're in love we tend to forget who we are and live according to what our partners want.  And we do this to make the relationship work.  I am not saying that we should not do a little sacrifice for the relationship to work out.  What I'm trying to say is that in choosing to be with someone, you should be YOU! And you can act the way you want to without fear that he'll leave you in case you commit some mistakes. If you can do these with him, everything else will come naturally.  You will make yourself better, correct your own mistakes and the little things that we call sacrifice or effort will just be called LOVE.

Guys, this goes for you too! :)
